My Sisters

I love LOVE my sisters. I read this amazing article from this amazing site that I have been following for a couple of months. I had to share because it touched my heart and made me long to snuggle my sisters.

A few weeks ago I put my name in to win these amazing "Widdo Wegs" from this amazingly talented friend in Arizona. I WON!!! I am so excited and am waiting with baited breath to get them in the mail. When they arrive I promise very cute pics of Savannah's fat thighs in them.

Favorite show

The girls and I have a favorite show that we watch religiously. It is what we DO. They are allowed to stay up a little past their bedtime for this show. Last night because of choices that were made they were not able to watch this favorite show and were pretty upset by this. But, mommy watched and really enjoyed the dances. My first favorite was Warren Sapp and his partner Kym Johnson.


My next favorite was Cody Linley and Julianne Hough.


I look forward to seeing who will be eliminated tonight. I hope it's a certain person who shall remain nameless for fear of people being mad at me for picking on slightly more seasoned people.

For a good cause

Dan and I are very big supporters of Breast Cancer Awareness. This being October, don't for get to click here everyday. I think I am going to buy Dan a new t-shirt. All for a good cause. He would probably prefer this instead. Of course any t-shirt that talks about this is good. Happy Breast Cancer Month.

Football Widows Anonymous

Is anyone else like me? Does your life revolve around football? Does your weekend schedule get constantly rearranged from August to February? Does your husband rush home from work on Monday's, and not speak to you until the first commercial of Monday Night Football? Can your daughters sing the fight song for the Chicago Bears, NFL team of your choice or college of your choice? Were three of your children born way to close to the college bowl season or the Super Bowl?

Hi, My name is Naomi and I am a Football Widow.

Don't get me wrong I like football. I wear my Chicago Bears apparel proudly (DA Bears). I watch way to much college football, and am married to a man who knows the college that almost every NFL player went to. I can converse with men about useless football knowledge, and teenage boys are amazed at what I know. Thank you Dan.

So Football Widows out there give me a shout out and tell me how you survive the Football season.

I miss the SUN

The other morning Savannah woke up at 5:30. I started her bottle and was feeding her and thought, hey I wonder what the temp is outside. I shouldn't of checked. It was 33 degrees but, get this, felt like 27 degrees.

Last Saturday it rained all day and didn't get above 60 degrees. I miss my flip flops and shorts.

Since moving to this WAY too cold place we have had our down comforter on our bed every night. In fact instead of an A/C kicking on at night our heater kicks on.

To all my AZ friends take a dip in the pool and enjoy your flip flops for me.

p.s. to answer a question. We aren't anywhere near Forks, WA. We are more in the middle of the state. And we are surrounded by sagebrush and apple orchards, maybe a few cherrie and peach orchards and quite a few potato fields and some wheat and corn fields too.

I recently happened upon Meghan McCains Blog. She had this amazing video. We must never forget to thank a veteran or a member of the armed forces for the sacrifices that they make on our behalf. "Freedom isn't free". I am thankful everyday that my family and I live in this amazing country. I am also thankful for those men and women who are out there making our country the safest nation in the world.
