Insight.com Bowl Game

For the second year in a row, Dan and Daren were in the right place at the right time and were given tickets to the Insight.com bowl game. They took Sariah with them and their tickets were in the endzone, they got some pretty great pictures.

On Jan 2 they will be going to the Fiesta Bowl, (Dan and Daren). Their tickets are in the endzone (again) Pictures to follow.....

Christmas Day

Christmas morning, we aren't very exciting....But Sabrina got her favorite present, Sariah received a digital camera (pictures included), and thanks Gma May for the jammies! After opening presents the girls, Daddy, and Daren watched a movie while mommy went back to bed. (She was up with Savannah most of the night). Hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas.

The Baby

Here are some pics of Savanna looking around and being cute. Tonight is her first Bears game so its a little baptism of fire, hopefully she doesn't get scared or cry. The same to me actually. Anyways we will hopefully get some pics of her in full Bear regalia, enjoying another "Devin for Seven" moment.

Baby Savannah

Naomi woke up at 2:00 am on Saturday, December 1, thinking she had to go potty after rubbing her back and dinking around it was determined that she needed to go to the hospital. I am driving along sitting at the light when I decided to time her contractions and they were at 2 minutes. So things got a little serious. Ten minutes later, contractions still at 2 minutes, and Naomi says I feel the need to push. Things are very serious at this point as we are still 15 minutes from the hospital. I suggest to her that she should not push and then proceed to run stop signs and red lights and get to the hospital in seven minutes.

We get into the Emergency room at 3:31 and proceed, with Naomi in a wheelchair, to run through the halls and up the elevator to the birthing center. We get her in the room and they turn on the machine at 3:36 am, Savannah was born 5 minutes later at 3:41 am. I was looking at Naomi trying to get her to breathe when the Nurse states "baby out". So I missed all of the exciting stuff but this was the first birth that I didn't feel like I was going to throw-up or pass out since there was no time for that kind of stuff.

But enough about that kind of stuff, here are some pictures of hte baby as well as the girls with their new recruit to the union.

Halloween

This past week was Halloween and as a mother I am probably not the best at getting costumes together and taken care of. Thank heavens for Grandma May who made Sariah and Sabrina's costumes and sent a really cute skirt for Sophie. All I had to do was go and but wings for all three and sew feathers on Sariah's (she's an angel).

Someone at Dan's work asked him what his girls were going to be and he told them.....an angel, a fairy princess, and a fairy ballerina. The comment that was made was "so the holy trinity of girl costumes"....Dan was not amused, especially when Daren piped in that he just needed a cheerleader and it would be complete.

Dan went as Bill Belichick...for those of you who have kept up with the football world this year, you will get it.

The day before Halloween we went and got pumpkins for the girls. They decided that they didn't want to carve them. Instead they wanted to paint them, with glitter and pink, purple, and yellow paint. (we really need a boy). Hope everyone had a great halloween.

Train Park

We went to the Train park with Jen, Dan, Isaiah, and Logan today. It was wonderful (direct quote from Dan). I'm sure you can tell by some of the pictures that Dan was thrilled to be there, and not watching football. The box car picture is where Sariah, Sabrina, and Isaiah wanted to sit.

There were even a few Star Wars characters wondering around. Which Isaiah thought was really cool. Everyone enjoyed themselves, but at the end certain little ones were tired, as you can tell by Sabrina sitting next to daddy and being grumpy. Also Isaiah missed the last train ride for being grumpy. We had talked about going to Dan and Jen's after the park but two little four year olds decided (through their grumpiness) that it would be better for them to go to their separate homes.

Sariah is the big winner

Naomi received a call from our local library and was told that Sariah had won the drawing for a bicycle (bet you can't guess the color) for the summer reading thing that they did. She begged us to let her enter two or three weeks ago and we let her so she would stop whining, and low and behold she won. Here she is collecting the valuable prize from the Walmart and the library board lady. She was very happy as neither mommy or daddy told her that she won. She found out when the library lady congratulated her. Sariah was given a choice of bikes and she of course went pink, Sabrina then claimed the other bike, but it was to big and to much $. So we have to play bike mechanic and fix her bike so the girls can have there very own Tour de Heat, up and down the street. Lucky mommy and daddy.

fun times at the Bosted house

fun times at the Bosted house

On Thursday when Sabrina came home from school she kept complaining that her legs itched. Being mommy I told her it was just bug bites and not to scratch. Later when she had scratched so bad she was bleeding, mommy decided to take a closer look. This is when it was decided that she had either played in a hive of mosquito's or she might have the chicken pox. Fast forward to Friday morning and her legs are spotted and the belly is spotted, mommy calls the doctor and was told, "It sounds like chicken pox, but you can't come into the office today because we see newborns on Friday". I then called her preschool, and the friends she had played with and her daddy who felt bad for me but, was glad I was the one at home and not him.

For all those moms who give their kids the chicken pox vaccine, 1 in 10 kids will still get the chicken pox, it will just be a mild case. And guess which one Sabrina is. Thankfully Sariah had chicken pox when she was younger. Unfortunately Sophie had a fever today and will probably break out in the next couple of days.

Mommy is looking forward to this week and the fun times that she will have. Because as we all know when you have chicken pox you feel fine and yet you are still contagious until things are scabbed over. So we are stuck in the house until further notice.

Naomi's Find

So we were out and about looking for a weed trimmer and a back pack for Sabrina as she begins pre-school on Tuesday. We stopped at the DI to see if they had anything and while Naomi was searching through the bags she found a Kate Spade purse, which she believed she had to have. Since it was her birthday the day before I figured it was ok, so i spent the $2 bucks and now she wants to brag to her sisters. I say whatever, but then again I'm a guy and care about important things like football, Bears, and more football. But heres a couple of pics of it.

Kaydee's Wedding and Zions National Park

This past week we attended Kaydee's wedding in Cedar City, UT. In order to get there we traveled through Zion's National Park in Southern Utah. The wedding was a wedding and I am a guy, so if you want details ask Naomi or Sariah, who was the junior bridesmaid and was the best part of the wedding if you ask me.

But since we purchased the pass to the park we toured it a bit more today, July 24, 2007, and it was fantastic. Unfortunately for Sariah she was traveling in the opposite direction going to Washington for a couple of weeks. But the little girls, Naomi, Daren, and I did get to see some incredible views. Enjoy....

San Diego July-07

We had a nice trip to San Diego this last weekend, July 12-14th, for Joey and Kim's wedding. We played at the beach and had a great time at the San Diego Temple. That is an impressive Temple, the girls loved the grounds and we enjoyed the inside as well. One thing about San Diego is their is a lot of natural beauty there. Especially at the beach. Anyways we had fun even though we left right after the reception and got home at 3:45 in the morning. At least the children slept most of the way which was good for mommy and daddy as well as for there own safety and well being. Here are some pics, hopefully you all enjoy.

Its hot in Arizona

We are not sure if any body we know believes in the scam of global warming but if you do the Southwest would be a good place to start. It has been around 115 degrees all week and so we have been playing in the pool to cool down. I will attach some crazy little girls pictures as these funny little kids are way crazy. We have posted a couple of videos to youtube, please see for yourself. 1 & 2

We should have some more up after tomorrows Independence day holiday.
