The other morning Savannah woke up at 5:30. I started her bottle and was feeding her and thought, hey I wonder what the temp is outside. I shouldn't of checked. It was 33 degrees but, get this, felt like 27 degrees.
Last Saturday it rained all day and didn't get above 60 degrees. I miss my flip flops and shorts.
Since moving to this WAY too cold place we have had our down comforter on our bed every night. In fact instead of an A/C kicking on at night our heater kicks on.
To all my AZ friends take a dip in the pool and enjoy your flip flops for me.
p.s. to answer a question. We aren't anywhere near Forks, WA. We are more in the middle of the state. And we are surrounded by sagebrush and apple orchards, maybe a few cherrie and peach orchards and quite a few potato fields and some wheat and corn fields too.

Let us never forget.....
I recently happened upon Meghan McCains Blog. She had this amazing video. We must never forget to thank a veteran or a member of the armed forces for the sacrifices that they make on our behalf. "Freedom isn't free". I am thankful everyday that my family and I live in this amazing country. I am also thankful for those men and women who are out there making our country the safest nation in the world.

Economics
Dan came across an interesting article in his review of all things Bears and Politics, it was an Investors Business Daily editorial on Barak Obama and his economic beliefs. Stunning to say the least and amazing what little we do know about this man who wants to be president. There are many things to like and not like about him personally but his beliefs needs to be scrutinized and the deeper you get the scariar things become.
Those who love this country cannot allow the ignorant and idiot vote to win this election. Most states allow registration up to the end of this month, so get registered and vote!

Moved........
We are in the house.....sort of unpacked.....I still feel like I am living out of a suitcase. Of course I think my father-in-law said it best. It's like putting 5lbs of crap into a 2lb bag. When did all of our things have babies and when did their babies have babies?????? I swear our stuff has multiplied and I KNOW I got rid of a ton of stuff before we left AZ. I have decided that I will move one more time and then after that Dan is on his own (I say that but we all know like a good wife I will follow my husband even if it is kicking and screaming).
What I have decided about moving is that no matter how much stuff you get rid of when you move, you are still taking stuff to the goodwill when you get to where you move. Maybe that's why I think our stuff has had babies. Hopefully by next week we will have a somewhat normal existance. School starts (I am jumping up and down and shouting hurray!!!!!) on Tues Sept 2 and our Miss Sariah will be a 3rd grader and Miss Sabrina will be in Kindergarten. It will be party time for mommy.
Well now that I have told you all our woe of unpacking and children who get into things faster then I unpack (love them). I must go and make sure that no one has died.

Monkey Girls
The other day (more like middle of the night) Sophie woke up at 2:30am and was up until 8:30am in the morning. Sometime in there Savannah woke up to eat. Never the less mommy was very tired and has decided that somehow the two of them are out to get me. The same day that I didn't get any sleep the girls were outside jumping on the trampoline in the rain.
Swimming
The girls have been enjoying the pool at Bama and Bampa's house. Savannah LOVES the pool and loves getting in and hanging out in her floaty. Sophie LOVES to be in the pool in her lifejacket swimsuit (which makes her to brave).
Visiting the Smith's
We have been making trips to Yakima to visit daddy during the week. We have been staying at the Smith's house when we do this. This time Sophie and Didi bugs were wearing the same shirt so we had to get a picture of them together.
